Nex-Gen is a brand built on a next-generation ethos, and we translate that positioning into a categorization system built around a triangular device. The triangle frames a strip carrying the featured tile image, suggesting a cheeky sneak-peek at what lies within each collection, and is paired with bold, commanding category text set in contrasting white. We colour-code the system with a more subdued tone selection, giving the brand an edgy, understated character rather than a loud one. This categorization icon anchors the catalogue cover, set against either a dark peacock blue or white background, and remains grounded in the same top-right corner throughout the rest of the catalogue — rendered in each category's own colour code — even as the interior pages follow a more conventional tile catalogue layout. Within this system, we name and develop four collections: Monolithos, a stone-inspired range built for durability and ease of care across floors and walls; Oeuvre, a glazed porcelain series drawing on man-made architectural materials for elegant, neutral-toned modern spaces; Silvae, a luxurious wood-inspired collection spanning natural colours and grain patterns from classic masculinity to high glamour; and Decortili, a decorative tile collection spanning Nordic minimalism to botanical maximalism. The categorization system has been fully adopted and used as part of Nex-Gen's product literature.
