Supai Ceramics approaches us to develop their product brochure for their double loading, semi-full-body technical porcelain collection. ​Doppio - Italian for double, fits the naming perfectly well.

The design idea revolves around experimenting hexagonal form - a cue from their brand identity, in different ways. Overlaying a fragment of a hexagonal shape onto the cover visual, rendered in vibrant yellow with the aim to attract attention.

The first spread is designed in reverse visual treatment to the cover with the hexagonal overlay masked with tile profile visual. The design convention continues through with either a part of hexagonal overlay depicting tile image on top of ambience visual or a dark-coloured hexagonal lay overlaps into the full page display of tile image on the left mirrored with ambience image on the right.

Gabbro is a celebration of the beauty of granite stone and as an extension to the ​Doppio brochure system, the brochure features a prominent round shape in the same vibrant yellow tone imposed on a foreground composed of gorgeous ‘basaltine’ tile filled to the edge.

Round shaped tile image paired with contrasting yellow tone - popping out in their full splendour invites admiration as you browse through pages upon pages. Subsequent pages follow through the similar design convention dotted with triangular elements rendered in the same vibrant yellow - making the whole brochure look and feel evokes a dynamic and young-spirited vibe.
